TRANSPORTATION OF DANGEROUS GOODS TDG

Dangerous are goods that under certain circumstances and factors can lead
to negative consequences, such as explosions and fire, death of people or
animals, material damage or environmental damage. Transportation of
dangerous goods requires special training, equipment, and personnel.

Depending on the properties and possible consequences, dangerous goods
are divided into classes:

CLASS 1 - explosive materials;

CLASS 2 - compressed gases;

CLASS 3 - flammable liquids;

CLASS 4 - flammable substances and materials;

CLASS 5 - organic peroxides and oxidizing substances, which can lead to
explosions and spontaneous combustion, when interacting with other
substances;

CLASS 6 - infectious and toxic substances;

CLASS 7 - radioactive substances with a specific activity of more than 70
kBq / kg (2 nCi / g);

CLASS 8 - caustic and corrosive substances with negative effects on
humans;

CLASS 9 - substances with a relatively low hazard during transportation, not
assigned to any of the previous classes, but requiring application of certain
rules of transportation and storage;

Each class has its own mark to be easily identified during transportation.
